SpaceX's 200th Raptor 2 Engine

During the summer of 2023 I worked as a Raptor Tooling Design Engineering Intern at SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA. Raptor is a full flow staged combustion engine used on SpaceX's Starship rocket designed for interplanetary transit. I spent the majority of my internship designing and analyzing tooling to increase the rate of Raptor engine production. Working at SpaceX is a truly unforgettable experience and has fundamentally changed how I work on engineering projects.

While I unfortunately am unable to show any photos of the projects I worked on while at SpaceX, my day to day tasks consisted of designing and analyzing tooling for a variety of manufacturing processes used in the production of Raptor, working closely with Raptor's Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver effective tooling.
